Dark Circles & Tired Eyes
Not every shadow has the same cause.
Darkness under the eyes can come from pigment, from thin skin showing what lies beneath, or from the shape of the area casting a shadow. These look similar and respond very differently. Understanding which one you have is the honest starting point.
Understanding the eye area.
Pigment in the skin
Thin skin and visible vessels
Facial structure
Sleep, allergies and fluid
A closer look.
Shadow is not pigment
The eye area has limits
Treatments to discuss.
Ask which products are suitable close to the eye and what they are intended to address.
May be discussed for skin texture in this area after assessment, with clear limits on how close to the eye it can be used.
Realistic expectations.
Structure does not change
Change here is subtle
Sleep and allergies still matter
You don’t have to choose a treatment on your own.
Will a facial get rid of my dark circles?
Probably not entirely, and for some causes not at all. The Nano Infusion Facial may be discussed for the skin itself, but if the darkness comes from facial structure or visible vessels, skincare does not change it.
Can microneedling be used under the eyes?
Microneedling can only be used in certain areas here, and after assessment. There are clear limits on how close to the eye any needling can safely go.
Is it just tiredness?
Sometimes, but often not. If the darkness is there after a full night of sleep, something else is contributing.
What can I do at home?
Sun protection and gentleness help most. Ask before adding strong actives near the eye, as this area reacts more easily than the rest of the face.
