Microneedling uses very fine needles to create controlled micro-channels in the skin. The skin responds by renewing itself, which over a course of sessions can soften texture, even tone and reduce the look of fine lines.

Important considerations

We wait until the skin has settled. Treating over active acne, eczema or open areas is not recommended.
Pause retinoids and exfoliating acids for about five days beforehand and avoid sunburn. We will confirm timings at your consultation.
Tell us about blood-thinning medication, keloid scarring, pregnancy or recent procedures. Some situations mean waiting or choosing a different treatment.
Microneedling is suitable across skin tones. Depth and aftercare are adjusted to your skin, which is one reason we plan it in person.
Every treatment begins with a conversation about your skin and history. Nothing here replaces that.

Gradual, and your own.

Skin renews over weeks, not days. Most people notice a smoother surface and a fresher look after the first session, with the clearest change once a course is complete. Results vary with skin type, age and how consistently you follow aftercare.

Before your visit

Arrive with clean skin, no makeup. Pause retinoids and acids for about five days and skip sun exposure the week before. Your consultation happens first, in the same visit.

During the session

Cleanse, numbing cream (around 20 minutes), then the treatment itself — 20–30 minutes across the face. A calming serum finishes the session.

Questions before you decide.

Most people describe it as a light scratching sensation. A numbing cream is applied beforehand and the depth is adjusted to your comfort.
Expect pinkness similar to mild sunburn for 24–72 hours, sometimes with light flaking. Makeup can usually be worn again after a day.
A course of three to four sessions, four to six weeks apart, is typical. We review after each visit.
Often, yes — a facial in between sessions or skin tightening as a separate course. We will suggest what fits.
